A fitness business coach who transformed her figure by swapping cardio forever living products for detoxification weightlifting has proved why you should never rely on the scales to build the body of your dreams.

Rhia Edwards, from Sydney, c9 aloe weighed 67kg in 2018 when she was sticking to an ‘uneducated and restricted’ routine of tiny meals and fit c9 look better feel better excessive workouts.

Three years later, the 28-year-old – who looks dramatically different despite weighing 68kg, just one kilo heavier – feels happier and healthier than ever after changing her training and healing her relationship with food.

Ms Edwards told Daily Mail Australia she experienced a ‘lightbulb moment’ about her lifestyle when she started working with health coach, Jason Tencate, who helped her to fall in love with the idea of becoming the best version of herself.

‘I was eating very little, and eating disorderly,’ she said.

This lack of structure led Ms Edwards to fixate on the scales, surviving on little more than salads then bingeing at weekends when she was hungover from drinking.

‘I tried to avoid overeating until I was happy with the number of the scales, forever c9 canada which was never!’ she said.

These days she eats ‘mindfully’ and ‘a lot more’, fuelling herself with large servings of lean protein like chicken, healthy fats such as avocado and salmon and carbohydrates including quinoa which release energy slowly throughout the day.

Ms Edwards insists it is worth enlisting the help of a highly rated fitness coach to keep you motivated when you will almost certainly want to give up.

‘It’s the best investment I’ve ever made.When the going gets tough and you want to fall off track, you need them in your corner,’ she said.

Ms Edwards said the most common misconception her clients come in with is that it will take 12 weeks or less to achieve their dream body.
